Today has been such a wonderful day, talk about it being a lazy day, this has been it. We got up early with the kids and spent the morning opening gifts. There wasn’t a lot but you know really that’s not what it was all about. We spent the night up at my parents so we had three generations sitting around this morning and enjoying time together. We had a wonderful breakfast and then pretty much went on to do what ever it was that we needed to do. Right now, David is putting the finishing touches on the emergency home inspection he did for a gentleman yesterday, his due diligence time runs out Monday and David was already booked for the rest of this week, so he ran out and did the home inspection in Jasper yesterday. Both of the kids are napping so I had a little free time to play on the computer.
I keep thinking over this entire holiday week of how blessed we are. It just reminds me when I look around and all my family is here together – getting a long wonderfully, friends stopping in that we haven’t seen in a while just to hang out, how lucky I am.
